Does Big Bear CRM integrate with simPRO?
Not natively. Big Bear CRM connects via Zapier or webhook, so you can push jobs to simPRO if you need field-service scheduling. Most sole traders and small sparky crews find the built-in pipeline handles their workflow without a separate field-service tool. If you need deep simPRO integration, ask and I will be honest about whether it is the right fit.
Can I track solar and battery installations separately from general electrical jobs?
Yes. You can run multiple pipelines and tag deals by job type. Solar installs, EV charger jobs, general electrical, and switchboard upgrades can each sit in their own view. Custom fields let you record system size, inverter brand, battery capacity, and anything else you need against each job.
Does it handle CEC accreditation tracking?
Not as a built-in certification register. You can store your CEC accreditation number and expiry date as a custom field on your contact record, and set a follow-up reminder in the schedule before it lapses. A dedicated compliance register is on the roadmap but not shipped yet. I would rather tell you that than let you assume it is there.
Can I send quotes directly from the CRM?
Yes. Big Bear CRM generates a public web link for each quote. You send it via SMS or email and the customer clicks to view and accept it. When they accept, the deal status updates automatically. No PDF attachments, no back-and-forth.
